Artist Biography: At Fates Mercy is a melodic post-hardcore 5 piece, fast gaining momentum and popularity in their home base of Adelaide, South Australia. Conceived in 2008, they are now enjoying the current success of a new line up of members, demonstrating talent for writing and performing complex and unique material. The band has already shared stages with the likes of 'Alesana' (US), 'Save The Clock Tower', 'Buried In Verona', 'Storm The Sky', 'Mandalay Victory', 'Mara Jade', 'Graveyards', 'Wake The Giants', 'Wish For Wings', 'Seconds Before Sunrise', and 'Mayweather', to name just a few.

At Fates Mercy independently released a self titled 3 track single in 2010, and has now recently released "REBUILD, REWIND" -- their highly anticipated 6 track EP. Recorded in late 2011 at Chapel Lane Studios in Adelaide (www.chapel-lane-studios.com.au), "REBUILD, REWIND" was jointly produced and co-mixed by former Sony Music Australia Head of Australian Artists - Wayne Ringrow, along with At Fates Mercy. Mixing and overall sound engineering was undertaken by Gabriel Agostino (Low-rider, Hilltop Hoods) and Swedish mastering engineer, Peter in de Betou (Bring Me The Horizon, Millencolin, Raised Fist), mastered and ultimately completed the overall sound of "REBUILD, REWIND".

With eagerness to share their sound with fans both old and new, At Fates Mercy seem poised to make waves in the diverse hardcore scene both locally and further abroad. At Fates Mercy, they think not, this band will have you at their Mercy.

About The Video: The video tells the story about a victim in a hostage situation breaking free from his captors. This represents the metaphor of 'setting darkness on fire' - fighting to get out of a bad/negative situation and being successful in reaching a better/more positive situation.
