I remember the 1998 power-out that they are singing about, which is why it is so awesome - I remember waking up late for school, and then panicing, charging out of the house as quickly as possible, not looking outside, (my dad worked at a hospital and my mom an elementary school, so they were troopers and made it to work previously), and dodging my way through puddles, snow, ice, downed power lines, and hell to school, only to find out the door was locked and there was no school that day.
