April Wine

Like most Americans, I discovered April Wine when Harder Faster came out. Then a trip to a local used record store (vinyl!) revealed to me that AW had been out there for several years. This album was my favorite discovery. Brilliant, start to finish. I now own every album ever released by this band, and have seen them twice in concert. Love, love, love this band.

I've always loved April Wine, ever since I was a kid. There was a period of time where they were performing around the GTA and I went to see them in Brampton, down at the Waterfront Pavillion in Toronto and they also played at Lulu's. I rented a mini-van and took 5 of my friends and even paid for all the ticket's!!!! Fun times that summer!!

Very unfortunate that it happened, especially at a concert of a great band like April Wine. A similar thing happened to me in Halifax - my sympathies.

This is such a beautful song and it brings back so many great souvenirs from the 70's. I like a lot of today's music, honestly but you see back in the 60's and 70's the music touched my soul but now it only touches the tip of your toes, It is not as deep and does it not touch our souls like it did back then. Music was so good and deep inside. Music realy meant that you were in love and wanted to spread love. It is not the same today.

My very first concert,wow Maple Leaf Gardens.Bought 2 tickets one for me and one for my crush.The concert starts naturally everyone starts to go crazy and out come the joints,splifs,roaches what ever you wanted to call maryjane back then.I don`t do the stuff and am really enjoying myself I turn to see if my crush is enjoying it also.She is no where to be found but after looking around I spot her surrounded by about 7 guys passing joints around.Went up to her told her she was on her own and left.
