I meant that John Bush sucks ass in Anthrax, not even the same band. I can dig on Armored Saint anyday.

Both JBs rule, man. Don't disrespect one of my favorite vocalists. Bush has one of the best voices in heavy metal music, just listen to Armored Saints albums

ROFL everyone bitching about Joey, who when he joined took them to a new level. Please, all you sing the same and be spot on 30 years later. Exactly, fuck off. And yes john bush sucks horse dick.

His guest appearance for The Four Horsemen was amazing, such god-made vocalist. Well Belladonna can sing about cancer and zombie invasion with a happy tune, something that's difficult to pull off xD

Shit this rules. I had no idea they covered DRI as a release. They sound great too. More a fan of Belladonna, but ya got to admit they couldn't pull this off with him.

Actually this cover was on the Japanese EP version of the Single along with a cover of Metallica's "Phantom Lord" and a cover of Radiohead's "The Bends"; All other versions had just "The Bends" and a B-Side called "Giving The Horns".

@Tomzmetal Interesting how Bush would be defended in vids for Anthrax songs as great as these. Forgive me if I could never be bothered to check out Armored Saint, but I just remember back when Anthrax did that video from The Sound of White Noise, and wanting to take a sledgehammer to my TV. (And I still refuse to believe *THAT* was an Anthrax vid!) The soulful sound may be a nice thing, but it isn't Anthrax's fundamental style.

Stop bitching about Bush. He's a helluva vocalist, powerful and skillful. In 2005 I used to think that he didn't fit Anthrax well but later I realized how damn good is he. So i love Turbin and Belladonna era, as well Bush period (but you shouldn't consider cd's like SOWN as thrash. It isn't thrash. It's just Anthrax playing interesting soulful music.). Anyway I'm glad Joey's back and I'd really love to hear some new stuff in Persistence of Time vein.

I had no idea Anthrax covered these songs.... Not that I would touch non-Belladonna Anthrax material with a flagpole! Even if Scotty is a backing vocalist at best, he was still much better than Bu$h idiot that took over between Joey's stints.

Scott's rapping "skills" really helped him out in the faster vocal parts in these two songs.

Why do people always feel the need to point out whether the original is better? No one cares.

The "Snap" half of the cover is epic. Can't beat the original but ANTHRAX did a good job. Like it as much as the original.
