carson CA = samoans to the max. big football players who went all to the way to DIV-I and pro. ask anyone who was around the South Bay back in the 60's/70's. and yeah that's the background of where the band's name came from. i oughta know, i was in the band meeting at 14922 bassett st Van Nuys sept 1978 when a loong 5-headed meeting/argument/filibuster/vote-by-majority got the band a name.

@gmcg923 lol in the mid 80s i saw battalion of saints play with a connecticut straightedge band...battalion was freebasing in the back room and i cant recall which band it was from Ct they were out in the parking lot skateboarding. in the first song by BoS one of the band members passed out onstage into the drum set causing a fight by the band members..lol and then on comes this band with X's on their hands.

@roastbeefdinner Don't blame me, I didn't book the show. I also saw GWAR open up for Murphy's Law there. The local skinhead contingent wasn't really into GWAR and rained spit, drinks and shoes at them. THAT was a terrible booking.
