Grave 2/4, timpani on the down beat, quarter notes with a melody contained with augmented 2nds and a minor scale. Same technique in Interstellar "A Place Among The Stars" and The Dark Knight "Watch The World Burn"I'm gonna steal this technique for my short mystery film film scoring project haha

well it's technically composed by the same composer (Hans Zimmer). if you think this sounds similar to the dark knight, compare "the battle" from gladiator to pirates of the carribean which both r also composed by hans. probably every composer have that signature tune so you can tell who composed it. the imperial march sounds pretty similar to indiana jones (both composed by john williams)

@chris84bloom Well there was also the assassin-for-hire with no motive but money (though not in the book) I'm sure nobody could care less about. Just like the world's in need of both science and religion; the movies are in need of both simple and complex villains.
