This tune and lyrics are timeless, it's a beautiful poem that touches me deep and the way Andy sings it is beyond beauty, I really love it. I have the cd with this song more than 20 years and I still love it., Name of the cd is Love, Andy and for me it's one of his best cd's.

We, today, want "perfection" (whatever that means). The beauty of his voice and this great song more than make up for any "flaws" there might be. Thank you for this song and video. FYI, this is on cd on the "Love, Andy" release on Collectables cd. "Though the world must take her far away..." Those lyrics really hit home now that Mr. Williams has passed on, RIP.

Thank you for posting this song. I heard it on an album we had at home growing up and God knows where that is now. I've never been able to find it anywhere. It is my favorite Andy Williams song and I could hear it all day long.
