Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers.

@boknashid81 I know exactly how you feel. i too saw him for the first time on farm aid and instantly became a fan. his music soothes my soul and makes me appreciate life, which couldn't have come at a better time. as i was searching for amos on youtube, I came across John Butler Trio. if you havn't heard of them you should check them out. they're somewhat of a modern day hippie. but their music has touched me in a way that no other band has. maybe it'll bring some light to your life

i never heard of him before i just watched the farm aid concert and became a fan i realized i let life drown me irs,, divorce, school , bills, family and xbox lol today is monday nov 28 2011 and i vow to everyone reading this i will enjoy the rest of my life peace to all

Amos Lee has a haunting voice that conveys the pain of life in such an earthy way. I have listened to this version of this song, stripped down a million times. Sometimes the truth is not pretty. It cuts to the soul. Thanks for this song. Farm Aid such a great message! I love my local farmers!!

Saw him live 2 days ago, and am still high off of the show! He is truely amazing, talented, soulful...Pure. Good. Music!! It was a religious experience!
