God I forgot how much I fuckin love this song... has it really been 14 years since I bought this cd... it's kinda funny that I hated this cd when I first got it cause tuonela next to still life from opeth is my favorite album of all time and this was nothing like it but it grew on me and years later I can still listen to it which means its a friggin masterpiece

Pasi's voice is just natural for doom metal..so are his lyrics. I haven't seen a band that makes doom metal better than amorphis.

One of their best albums, indeed. I like Am Universum with Pasi and Eclipse with Tomi the most. Best two albums, and they both have amazing vocals... Otherwise the rest of their albums are still good, also their oldest growling stuff with other Tomi :) They are Amorphis - simply great, and it doesn't matter who sings for them... The Amorphis athmosphere is always there.

Tales from the thousand lakes and silent waters are the best albums of Amorphis, by far. I think i like Am Universum and Far From the sun the least, but Elegy is very very good.

No matter if new or old, pop or not, I love the band, and I think that all albums have something to offer and also stuff that I do not like. Agree on the albums you mention, especially Am Universum and Elegy. I like the way the band does renew itself and does not repeat the same thing on every album...
