THANK U cherons34!!!!! I am from a classical background and also sang and played keys in rock bands...and have taught quite a few singers. And I have been posting for WEEKS that this guys vocals are BRILLIANT. He possesses a raw wild quality alongside a beautiful, breathtaking timbre, and just POWER and CRAZY ability. He can tear the house down I assure you - I agree with everything you said. He will go FAR. His voice is AMAZING. The heart connection is deeeeeep. His writing is GREAT too.

i think there's nothing wrong with his last note... except for the part where he shouts at 2:34 - 2: 40... he did not sustain his note during that part... but i think it's part of his style... he risked some parts to have his own version of the song... and those risks really earned him a lot!

Wow he had pitch problems through out the song and the last note was horribly flat. Overall it was a really bad performance which is too bad because the musical director put together a very simple arrangement for him. Did some of you miss the show a few weeks ago where Cook admitted he finds the arrangements on itunes and gives his ideas to the musical director, who then writes the arrangement for the full band/orchestra? The idols aren't responsible for writing the arrangements.
