Sorry i so obviously offended you. Your argument that the history of Canada includes everything that happened on the land before 1867 is a little preposterous to me. "Canada" as a country, is what I am talking about here my friend. From the point that we became Canada and forward. And who is limiting your freedom of speech? I was just making a point that thousands of others are always making... Youtube is the worst place to debate such sensitive topics.

The song has more history then canada, eh?. Well, from one Canadian to another, you are completely and utterly wrong. Though this song was published 1779 and Canada was first established in 1867 the landmass that we now call Canada still existed...it wasn't just some big hole in the ground till the indians, british and french filled it in. The history of Canada includes everything before and after 1867 you jack-ass. And this may not be a debate forum but it is the internet = FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

I'm unsure as to your point...I think you completely misunderstood that excerpt. The "rightious" who suffer, are not fundamentalist Christians, they are the victims of Christianity; The Africans who didn't use a condom and contracted Aids because their faith considers its use a sin, the children who are raped by their priests, the innocent women who were burned/drowned/executed for the accusation of whitch-craft, the men, women and children murdered in the "Holy" land during the crusades...etc..

...and nothing, in my opinion, is "sadder" then those who would rather live as sheep, never questioning themselves or their religions, not even questioning the human beings ( who are flawed by nature ) that interpret the message of God i.e. the Pope, a Priest/Rabbi/Imam etc...
