Jej názov vyvolal kontroverzné reakcie dávané do suvislosti so smrťou Johna Lennona v decembri 1980, hoci pieseň skupina nahrala pred touto udalosťou.V septembri 1980 skupina vystupila na festivale Futurama v Leeds, kde zapôsobila na DJ Johna Peela z BBC a zástupcov spoločnosti CBS Recprds, ktorí skupine ponukli zmluvu na nahrávanie.
