You have probably heard this song done by Boz Scaggs and Bonnie Raitt, but did you know it was actually written by Allen Toussaint? We were lucky enough to have the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee play it for us in our studios on June 1. Enjoy!

Lowell George rendition of this song is absolutely a TRUE MASTERPIECE! Yet, listening to this version right from the source is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. Hats off to Allen Toussaint <3 <3

A girl of foundation, dedication, and hope. A soul-searching song.

Lowell George died shortly after he recorded the album, "Thanks, I'll Eat it Here". He was on tour promoting the album in Arlington VA. when they found him dead in his hotel room. He was breaking up Little Feat and going solo. Little Feat broke up shortly after Lowell's death in 1979 and reformed in 1988 as awesome as ever. Now, I have heard that Paul Barrere, lead guitar, is taking another break from the band. Lowell and drummer Richie Hayward have passed away. God Bless Little Feat. A favorite

I know this song from Bonnie Raitt's "Home Plate" but I would love to hear Lowell George's version.

I agree with Shads929, the Lowell George version is definately my favorite. Lowell had such a soulfull take on this song with that sweet, sweet voice of his. Nice to here this version though. Thanks for posting this.
