Oh, but it is true. Layne wrote lyrics for Head Creeps, Man in the Box, and just a few others. Jerry Cantrell wrote most of the rest, so I estimate that Cantrell wrote about 90% of the songs. That's not a calculation, just a guess based on what I've researched. Correct me if I'm wrong, but please cite your sources and include examples.
