The problem with Alice Deejay was the concept was confusing to audiences and poorly thought out. They wrote and produced excellent songs, but made big mistakes that ultimately made the project unsustainable. Foremost, they needed to have a lead singer who could actually sing live and they needed to make it clear from the start that this person was part of a collective of artists - not actually Alice Deejay herself. It's a shame because the project could have been taken to interesting places.
