I am not a fan of traditional music videos because I dislike the whole lip-synching concept, but this one is really good. It's so creative, so different, so lacking in the standard dreadful clichés that it has made a real impression on me.It is interesting that the folks are so into their activities they don't even notice Alex's presence (I would not have managed it..lol). They gradually become dimly aware of something, and by the end they seem to be singing along. Still they cannot *see* Alex, but they must be able to hear her singing and that is enough to put them under some kind of irresistible spell. This is my horribly superficial interpretation, the only kind I have.These fellows have it going on. I hope I am that cool when—I mean if—I reach that age. For now, they have me beat.

I don't know why Alex Winston isn't a household name. I heard of her by accident after a friend saw her perform at SXSW. I checked out some videos around Youtube and it was like I had never heard music before that moment. As with all great music the quality of song writing is beyond my understanding, as it should be.I wish Alex had some sort of presence around here, but I see no evidence of that (outside of the videos of course). I see no comments or replies by her in this channel, no video where she talks, nothing in any video description except credits and links to buy music (which is fine)—but no links for social medias and such. I feel that someone else runs this channel, uploading a few times a year. I almost think she does not use the internet. Alex, if you ever see this, come to the internet. :)
