K, let's do some math. You started to take it seriously since u've been 18yo, and you were born in 1992. So you play "seriously" since 2010. I get the part that you are "self taught" but does it mean you are not using any resources at all? You just got drumkit and sticks and never even tried to google "dynamics" or "rudiments"?! Coz you need both of those. Are you trying to reinvent playing on the drums? I honestly don't see any reason to play so bad after 5 years of "serious" drumming. To many terrible drummers get the credit on youtube, lately.

Go make your own video - I'll plan it out for you.Get a cardboard cut out of Matt, set him down behind a drum kit and jam some sticks into his hands, and film him while the song plays in the background. MAKE SURE there's no breeze or draft in the room cause you don't want him to move (at all) cause when drummers move around it's fucking horrible to watch, make sure he is completely static. The song will be playing so the drumming will obviously be exactly what happened on the record - perfect. Upload it after you're finished, and we'll see how well you go. Cheers cockhead.

Seems like every cover I watch of this song the drummer leaves out the crucial sixteenth notes on the high-hat and focuses on only the kick and two-hand snare. Why? It's really not that hard. I think people do that to avoid fatigue, but honestly try playing Everlong and tell me what's more tiring...
