If someone wants to be a singer then surely they should at least be capable of singing? If Alesha had never been in Mis teeq, and nobody had heard of her, and she decided to audition for X Factor, the judges would have laughed her off the stage.

She is doing fine fine as a judge and a dancer sure, but MrMystri's comment on her singing capability was spot on, she is a RUBBISH solo singer, and no one wants to pay to hear her sing. She was given some very amazing and catchy pop songs, Knock Down being my favorite, but she never even got into the top 10, and barely made a dent in the charts. She isnt good at singing.

Definitely agree, her voice is nothing special, and it actually annoys me, far too pitchy and whiney. She was a lot better in Mis teeq, in fact Mis teeq were brilliant with their first album, but then I thought their second one was crap. They had a very good thing going with their UK garage music, and they ruined themselves by not continuing with what they did so well.

She's underrated for a reason.....her vocal capabilities, her music hasn't , doesn't and will never tear up the charts, lets all be honest here . Yes she may be talented in other areas and she's definitely a stunner, but as for singing??? Naaaaa-aaaah!
