My favorite blues player. I was 16 when I got my first Albert King tape, I skipped school and went to the tape hut and found it, he was playing a Fender Telecaster. Yes, he played the same licks over and over again, but oh how sweet they were. Blues at its best. Albert was special and those pull down bends? man! so so tasteful! He surely inspired me to play blues and taught me what bends are supposed to sound like. It would have been an honor to meet the man. His soul lives on in his music and now God is digging Albert in heaven I pray. Bless you Albert King!
