Albatross. (Fleetwood Mac). One of the greatest instrumental tracks of all time. A beautiful, haunting and thought invoking piece of music. I recorded this on December 8th 2004, just two days after my mum passed away. This was her favourite piece of music, and I recall she used to play the 7" single on the record player with the arm up so that it would play over and over. Whatever band I was in I would always make sure we played this whenever my mum came to watch us. This is the exact recording that was played at my mum's funeral service. I deeply regret one thing about this tune - I never managed to record this for my mum (she asked me often) until it was too late. I am posting this today in rememberance of my mum, I miss her dearly. Please take time to do those little things for your loved ones - they are often the things that mean the most to them.
