When I was 13, growing up in Akron, Ohio. There was a place called "The Back Stage Bar", and my parents were frequent visitors since they entertained their Clients there a lot. Al Alberts was booked there one night and Frankie Avalon came there to hear Al ALberts sing and a local Disk Jockey asked my parents for them to bring myself and a girlfriend to sort of make a fuss over Frankie Avalon. Well, of course, I was impressed with Frankie, but I fell in love with Al ALberts.Still am. He came to our house one weekend. I still have wonderful pictures of him singing "TO Me!". What a thrill. I will cherish those pictures forever. What a magical voice he has.
