I don't think Aimee should talk trash about Dylan and make the guy out to be bad, its too much like gossip to me.  Private conversation...So what if he is a little eccentric, its his tour and this is just what the guy is like.Big thumbs down to Aimee.

If he didn't have that personality....he wouldn't had written the songs the way he did. He was totally like that before he even became famous. he's talking like that because that's how he thinks......that's what makes him different. She's the one talking and acting like a total jerk, what's her excuse? ??    she is truly full of herself. gross

I don't see anything wrong in the way Bob behaved.  Do you?  She's making a bigger deal of things..  She didn't understand Bob's humor in it.    He said it with a twinkle in his eye and she was supposed to smile, knowingly.   The story songs get you every time, especially if you can't feel like an equal and a cohort.    I don't see any gain in putting others down before her and disclose her innermost reactions to a bunch of people who make it a business to turn artists out.

Aimee mann is a complete buffoon! Bob Dylan was totally just kidding about hating story songs because he earned his immortal status by writing "story songs." In other words, folk and folk rock songs. Even his favorite songwriter growing up, Woody Guthrie, was famous for his "story songs." Aimee Mann was wrong in everything she said about Dylan, what a worthless dimwitted trollop. And for her information, Dylan isn't trying to see how far he could push people or anything like that, hes just reclusive and eccentric, it usually comes with the territory of being legendary artist, but she wouldn't know because it would take divine intervention for her to write a song half as good as any one of the hundreds of Dylan classics. Lady, do us all a favor and permanently disappear!

As believable as those stories are I laugh at the fact aimee mann has not wrote a song anywhere near the calaber of bob dylan but as for van morrison, he is a twat. Van the man can go fuck himself
