laura's said in a recent interview that she's not interested in vocal cord surgery, because she likes the sound of her voice currently. she also stated that the hormones she's on won't affect her voice either. so that clears that up.

Unless SHE gets the surgery on her vocal cords, she will not sound like the stereotypical female. Which, I think no matter what, the band's music will still rock the fuck out. Just saying. The hormones do little, if anything at all, to change the voice. The male vocal cords are too thick to be changed by anything but surgery.
