Some parts of this I like, some parts I don't. It was changed up almost too much. But I appreciate AF doing their own thing with this iconic song and yes Freddie would have liked this arrangement and he certainly would have sung with the amazing Floor Jansen. He would have sung with Tarja as well.I do like Symphonic/Epic Metal though. Nightwish/Tarja was incredible. European songwriters, arrangers and lyricists are so much better than the crap they write here in America and that's why Jackie Evancho went overseas to find good songwriters for her new album Awakening.

I like this version much better. I remember the song from being a kid, but I'm more used to this version. This version works better as a pop song, I think. The original is more an exercise in being avant garde. It is more dramatic, but you have to wait forever, pardon the phrase, to get to the dramatic and interesting parts. Plus, I think it works better as a duet between man and a woman rather than two men singing.

I see lots of butthurt here. Let's be objective:I LOVE Queen. Floor singing a cover of a Queen song is just incredible. Her voice is made for something like this. Freddie probably would have done a duet with her on a song had he still been alive. She can sing the high parts just as well as Freddie, only because he was already sick and couldn't sing as high as he could previously. Also, Floor's classical ability has already been shown off in many different places. Anyone getting all pissy about this cover needs to get mad at Brian and Roger for teaming up with that piece of shit Adam Lambert.
