Many musicians write their melodies first and build the lyrics around them. Supposedly Aesop has a rough idea of what he wants to say, but writes his verse after hearing the beat. And sometimes I guess the mood in a beat can inspire lyrics on its own.

It seems like the sounds in Blockheads beats dictate what Aesop is going to say..or maybe Aesop's words create the music around his verses. IDK but either way its F*****G beast. Probably the most intuitive and inventive beat smith and lyric master yet.

Aes is probably the most lyrical musician of this time. He uses allusions, metaphors, and symbols that you wouldn't even know of without looking them up and studying. What I would like to know is how he writes lyrics this incredible and unique with such ease.
