Semantically his lyrics are pretty boring. I mean, if you listen to No Regrets, which is probably one of his most comprehensible songs, it's got a fairly simplistic story and theme to it.But where the music really shines is when you just listen to it. How the words flow off of each other. The lyrical composition is so aesthetically pleasing that it also doesn't matter if it makes sense. More like poetry in that sense. The narrative suffers but the end result is pretty aesthetically pleasing to listen to.

I remember when I was so excited to see Aesop Rock.. all I got was coked out Ian Bavitz. He was incredibly rude. I had a very rare CD of "Fast Cars Danger Fire and Knives". I just wanted Ian to sign it.. we was so coked out and in withdrawls for another line.. he asked me to give it to a fan of Lif. I told him to fuck himself and didn't even see Lif because hes like 5'nothing. If anyone meets Ian personally.. this guys needs a swift kick to his dick!! I would have rather seen Rugged man or Slug from Atmosphere!! Much better MCs and super nice guys!!
