First album I ever bought was "Toys", in 1976 for $3 from my buddy's older bro. I was 8. Album 2, "Book Of Dreams" Steve Miller Band.Cat Scratch Fever was huge then, and I remember watching all of the long haired high-school guys and girls on the block, and just wishingI was 7-10 years older. By the time I got to HS, 82-86 it was all new wave, which I personally thought was so gay. In the early 80's my buddy'sand I rebelled against the new wave, and the silly hair bands like Ratt etc and got hard core into Zep, going to "The Song Remains" at the midnightmovies almost every weekend. Now at 47 I still prefer that raw 70's Aerosmith, Faces, Stones 69-74', and all Zep except "In Through The Outdoor".When we have ppl down for partys/get togethers ppl give me a hard time saying I never play anything after 1980, and I think? Why would I:)
