Black isn't a culture and neither is African!Africa is not a country and the people are not all same, Africa has many many cultures very different from one another.the music of Adiemus has no lyrics, vocalists sing syllables and 'words' invented by Jenkins.

I LOVE anything from Adiemus albums! And after reading some of the comments...Why does everyone always make things racial??! The harmonies of these songs are obviously African inspired and from what I've briefly learned Gospel as well. Who cares if the composer is an old white man, he composes beautiful music that lifts ones spirits and does exactly what music should do. I have heard other songs from the Adiemus Albums by listening to my Enya station on Pandora- so I just heard this song last night and this song just took me right out of reality for a bit and I fell in love with the music, the voices, and the spirit of it. Something clicked on in me when hearing this and in the last year I have not felt more connected to myself than last night when hearing this song! I want all his Albums! :)

This IS black music. I don't care who wrote it or who is singing. This is obviously influence d by BLACK African singing, so if it pains you to be honest and admit that, miss me a thousand time with the bullish!!!

Oh come on people, music is universal. It belongs to everybody, and Adiemus is an amazing homage to African music. Why people always have to go "it's not black!", as long as it's beautiful, respectuous and not a "bastardization" of ethnic music, we shall just shut up and enjoy it.
