I know Adam's set was cut to 1 song but he should have done a medley of hits instead of a new tune. This performance is as bad as I remember it being 30 years ago when I saw it on the TV. Worst decision ever made in Pop to do that song on that day.Sorry Adam.

at least he was not full of pomp and crap, as were so many around in those days. Adam is Adam...thats all ther is to say. He didnt need the ants or oldies to get him through. He was still strong. Prince C was only two years before. seriously !

Live Aid was the Beginning of the End. Decadence was out. Adam was out. Spandau Ballet and Stuff was out. U2 was in.Don´t get me wrong U2 was the best Rockband in the World.But then came "Nirvana" and this hole Grunge thing,I did not like it,i do not like it,i will never like it.

my kid brother loved this, and still does. Just a shame he only got one song but it was a decent one, and at least he got on the bill! I wonder how many didn't make it?

I always thought he should have reunited with the Ants for Live Aid. He probably would have gotten a better time slot and a longer set had he done so. Ah well...this is a fun and energetic performance, I just think he got screwed with his allotted time.

I read that Adam originally wanted to do 3 songs on Live Aid, but he was told they only wanted just one song. Apparently Geldof only let him participate because he felt sorry for Adam, saying Adam was 'over the hill'. But seeing his energy here on this clip, he was hardly over the hill!
