A la deriva entre un sonido decididamente pop metal y canciones poco inspiradas, Eat the Heat ocupa un lugar especialísimo en la discografía de Accept, no sólo por la ausencia de Dirkschneider, sino por ser considerado uno de sus discos menos representativos, y uno de los menos apreciados por los fans.

This album is very underrated! For me, this is not Accept, but the best of David Reece. He made the album his own!

Of the 12 songs on this album, at least 7 are incredible. XTC, Prisoner, D-Train, Hellhammer, Break The Ice, Turn The Wheel, I can't Believe In You, even Mistreated and Chain Reaction. That's 9. This album was tremendously UNDERRATED.
