Most of the bands you named were in fact the shitty part of mainstream, because other than System of a Down and Korn, those bands are all just rehashed of what's been done before. For half the time, the mainstream are mainstream because people like their music. If you're even close to right, then the beatles would probably not be even heard of today. @RedNBlackAlliSee thank you for being respectable about your argument. However, it's true it's "hardcore" but that doesn't mean it's good. I literally go no melody or beat from this. It's just screaming. Now compare it to say, Metallica. Their guitar is righteous, and the vocals are pretty great too. I think Death Metal really needs to step up its game. Keep the screaming, i don't care. But have at least some semblance of guitar and a few recognizable words in it to change pace.12 years назад

Disturbed is mall rock, Ozzy's solo stuff was hard rock for the most part, System of a Down could be considered metal and they're awesome, I like Korn, but they're not metal, and Seether is one of the shittiest mall rock bands I've ever had the displeasure of listening to.
