Hey Una, Thanks for the support. In the summer of '76 (long and hot) I used to go every Tuesday to the Nashville Rooms in Kensington to see the Stranglers for free, cos they hadn't made it yet. They we're great, but I still loved ABBA even though my mates ridiculed me for it. I just love a great melody and always have done, especially joined to some heart-rending lyrics that fitted me at the time.I felt somewhat vindicated when Elvis Costello said, in some article or other, that the Attractions loved ABBA and nicked musical bits from them all the time!Then I went to see him at the Albert Hall, and they opened with "Knowing Me, Knowing You". And good on them.A great song is a great song, and several of ABBA's are up there with the greatest.
