the good ol time.. the times where real musical talents rules instead of autotunes.the very fact thay their live voice is exactly the same as their recordings is the testament of their musical talent.

There is a rumor that they are getting back together for a reunion. If we in the Detroit area get snubbed again like the people responsible for putting their tours together in the 70s, they will pay the price.. We in the Detroit area will not tolerate being snubbed again. I hope the people responsible for putting that tour together takes a good hard look at that. They owe us a couple of shows for dissing us in the 70s

This was north-west London, early November, 1979, not far from where Elton John grew up, and also the hometown of The Who, The Stones, The Kinks, Bowie, Queen, Pink Floyd, Kate Bush and several emerging New Wave and New Romantics pop acts, all destined to compete with each other in the now-forgotten pop charts. But as 1980 got closer, with these magnificent and memorable live performances in London over several nights, Abba stamped their pop credibility on even their grumpy, cynical British begrudgers (who did exist in the 70s). Abba added a beating heart to the British pop machine that November (let's not forget that 'I Have A Dream' was held off the top spot by Pink Floyd's Another Brick In The Wall during Christmas '79, and that 'Ashes To Ashes' by Bowie would knock The Winner Takes It All off the top spot the following summer). Surely Sweden's Abba provided much needed emotional yet light-hearted ballast in pop's big hitters' league. Abba were essential to Brits! They needed them!
