What does "Just Stay" mean to me... It means that you will always have someone through the good and the bad days, that they will always be by your side just like you are with them. They will always try to help to solve your problems or fights you may have instead of running away or making you deal with it on your own. no matter the distance that is between you two, the love is stronger. It shows the love you have and memories you guys have made with each other will always be with you even if you guys aren't together and can not be replaced or taken away. To me it means you can be completely yourself and know that they will love and care about you. I have been a fan of a skylit drive for years and this song has helped me learn more about the love I have for you guys. No matter what I try to go to at least one show per tour because the moments I get to spend talking and seeing you guys on stage mean the world to me and is always worth it. It doesn't matter how many time I talk to you guys I still get nervous and am always incredibly shocked how you guys know me and show that you guys care for me and all your fans. when I discover my love for this band I made it my goal to show you guys the love I have for you and tell you guys how thankful I am for you. Just stay is more than a song to me it helped me know that you guys will always be there for me just like I am for you.

This video means a lot to me for reasons that i'm not really sure anyone could ever understood, i grew up and raised myself while my dad worked himself in the ground and my mother was gone because of a drug addiction that permanently impacted my life. My dad who was abused and adopted didn't talk to his parents and my mothers side blamed me and my father for what happened. It was just me and my father he was wrongfully fired from his job when i was 13 on Christmas so we had to survive on nothing until he got social security at that moment my dad did everything he could for me. After all the turmoil me and my father suffered i now go to college at Cleveland Sate and have a full future in front of me but as i get further in my future my fathers health continues to fail he is the only family i have left and this song reminds me of him, of how people in your life can impact you and when they are gone it just simply devastates you. This is one of my favorite songs because i will always think of my dad when i hear this song. Thank you for this i love this and the meaning behind it.

Simply means, "just stay." From the woman's perspective. Always smiling when in reality, she's depressed because he's always gone. When she needs him the most, he's gone. When he is there, he has to leave again. So, she wishes she could travel with him all the time explaining her in the box. Can't leave one another's side when it a real. "Just Stay."

In the even of the passing of somebody you love so completely, we do things that will help us to remember that individual. Yet, we understand that nothing can supplant those memories. Each one of those things we accomplished for that individual we cherish. That we can't experience existence without living. That at last, the closure we need was the adoration and life we lived with the one individual that meant so much to us. This video to me means that the bond with our partner is so incredibly strong; when we fall in love with them, they become a part of us. If our loved one is taken away, a part of us breaks, and we are then only living with half of ourselves. This can be applied to other relationships as well, such as with a parent, a sibling or a best friend, etc. There are so many things that are not in our control. Accidents, disease, or people leaving without a reason. The emotion of love is one of the strongest that we as humans (and even non-humans) feel. When these obstacles take away someone that we love, it leaves us broken and scarred. We're hoping and praying that they don't leave, or that they heal from whatever they might be suffering from. We hope and pray so hard that they stay in our lives. If we do lose a loved one, we will eventually come to accept their death and overcome the tragedy. The wounds will heal in time. To me, this is represented when Michael lays his wife in the box. This video hit all my emotions. It made me realize to never take a day for granted because anything can happen. I met an incredible man that I plan to marry in the near future. I can't imagine life without him. It crushes my heart just to think if anything were to ever happen to him. Watching the video, "just stay" gives a slightly different message than just listening to the song. Being away from the ones you love so often is very difficult. You're doing what you have to do in order to do what you love by being on the road. You feel like you're just going through the motions. You're trying to act happy and like everything is perfect and you have to when you are in the public eye. But really, it's crushing you. You're sad and miss the ones you love back home (or out on the road for the girlfriends) but you just have to put a smile on and act like nothing is wrong. No matter what you are doing, you are constantly thinking of being with the one you love. You can't just bring them with you when you go on tours because they have their careers too and so you have to be apart a lot. The ending when Jag puts Lindsey into the box and seals it is symbolizing how he wants to take her with him. He wants to ship her out to be with him when he is on tour. If it were that simple, he, as well as all the guys, would have the ones they love with them all the time so they wouldn't have to go through the pain of missing them. If they could bring their loved ones along, life would be easier. But life isn't that easy. And because it's so difficult, they probably have a constant worry of losing people close to them. They just want them to stay with them through all the beautiful times spent together while they can be home and all the lonely nights spent away. In another life, they'd always be together so they'd never have to face anything alone. Because although being there for someone through texts and calls helps, it's not the same as physically being there.

The song "Just Stay" to me means a lot. It means being with someone you truly love no matter if that person is ready to let you go. Its about holding on to that person as tightly as possible so nothing keeps you away. But when there's something wrong you know it won't last forever but you want it to. This song has gotten me through a lot especially heartache which why I can relate to this so much. Just having that person "stay a little longer" so you don't have to say goodbye forever and your relationship with that persob just ends and it's over. Making a person try to stick by you through thick and thin.

I love this video. It shows how the loved ones we have lost can never be truly gone as long as we carry them in our hearts & memories. They can't ever be replaced. We wish the could stay with us but even if they are not there physically, they will always be with us in spirit. I lost my Grandma last year. I was in a car accident & while at the hospital she passed away. I miss not being able to see her everyday but I know she is with me & she never left my heart. That's what this song means to me

Dear A Skylit Drive, I just read a skylit Timothys comment and it really touched my soul. I have been thinking about his words that just created such a organic and genuine emotion towards your guys band. Seeing his words and how you all have helped him surpass his sorrows in life is one of the most vulnerable acts of selflessness. I hope he wins this. It seems like he really deserves it. Its the Memories. I had a very good friend pass away from cancer, he fought it for years and then just couldn't anymore. This video speaks to me. Once he passed on I took everything we had ever done, and put it in a box. Pictures, fair tickets, movie tickets, EVERYTHING, and it now sits in his parents Living room. As a reminder of who he was and what he meant in our lives. We always miss you James. Always. Its a part of my life that I tell NOBODY about, Not even my curent Fiancee, because its my memories. And I prefer to keep it that way. Thank you guys. I actually cried.

I feel like this video is a representation of what love is and means, and how you can't just replace someone you truly love no matter what. It's obvious he was truly in love with the woman he lost, and It puts off as though she didn't leave, rather lost a battle of some sort and left this earth. You can see the love he has for her, and he tries to move on, but can't let her go and tries to replace her with a robot thinking she looks the same, but without her love, her sense of humor, all those little things that made her who she was and who he fell in love with it wasn't the same. It shows that when you truly love someone you don't forget them. You don't shelf the feelings you have for them, you don't forget the memories, that seeing the smallest thing can bring back those memories and feelings, and it shows the old saying true love never dies. Beautifully done guys, a great acoustic version of an amazing song. I love the concept, i couldn't imagine life without my husband, and know he is truly irreplaceable to me, so I understand the meaning behind this song!
