On a sunny afternoon in June, we travelled to Pictou, Nova Scotia to visit Dave Gunning in his hometown. We went through the Hector Heritage Quay, where one of the first significant migration of Scottish settlers to the region occurred.

Dave Gunning is a staple of east coast folk music, and for this video we climbed up into the captain's quarters of the Hector replica to record a live version of his song 'A Game Goin' On'. This song from his 2012 album 'No More Pennies' was the winner of CBC Music's 2013 Great Canadian Song Quest!
