Why did they not use the whole song this is brilliant in the full version!? There is an easy sad horrendous truth as to why A Foot In Coldwater couldn't break out of Canada- they were a Canadian band. Every band from outside the US and many of our own best bands were victim to the corrupted music industry. The same industry that has wrecked music now. Back then you had to be good to make a record. Now? You have to suck! New popular music is shite and there is no way around that truth

This Toronto group used to call themselves The Lords of London and had a #1 song on the CHUM chart in 1967 called "Cornflakes and Ice Cream". In the late 80s I worked with a relative of one of the members. She told me he left the music business years ago and worked in landscaping.
