My dad has the "Basics of Life" cassette tape album. The tape's all worn out because it has been played million times, especially when my lil brother had an accident and two of my siblings and I were left home when we were kids. Everytime I hear these songs, I can still feel His amazing and unfailing comfort... it's awesome!

*hugs* That's terrible what happened to you (i bet you get that a lot lol but it had to be said) anyway, i'm currently seeking counseling for my own issues. One of them being pressured into getting sterilized at 19 then when i told my dad (who pressured me) of how guilty i felt, he threatened to cut himself out of my life (which is basically what he did with my little sister) he then cursed me over the phone and said i betrayed him which hurt me emotionally. now he won't forgive me.

beautiful, i'm a two time rape survivor and abuse survivor. i've walked away and have tried living my life on my own without God and it is completely impossible. I have just recently returned to my walk with God and am so thankful for his healing powers in our lives
