That was long before singer Tony Bennett did his rendition of the same song with real fast jazz tempo....and this was unreleased as a single in 1967.

To not love this music and be moved by its rhythms is to have no soul:-(A little known fact, not directly related to this magnificent piece is the fact that Carl Laemmle founder of Universal Pictures (1912) was also for a time in the music publishing business........heading the "Music House of Laemmle" at the turn of the century.........business pressures in the formation of Universal forced Laemmle to divest his interests and concentrate on the motion picture business.

Obviously we are devoted to music of this period. It isn't nostalgia - a term I loathe - it is simply a taste for a sound that is impossible to come by unless one listens to these recordings. I don't want to live in the past, but I am thankful that there are people like you who bring the past to the present!

Another stunning Arden Ohman record! Their band must have been something to hear live. The quality of the recording is excellent for 1932!
