What I meant to say is, if we are all born in the same condition-totally depraved- and God only chooses to elect some unconditionally- isn't it humbling rather than boastful that God would elect us and pass over others, who as a result are destined for hell unable to change their situation? Why should we brag about being saved, when it is nothing of ourselves and the ones who God didn't elect will spend eternity in Hell?
