This whole album is amazing but some songs just speak directly to your soul when you 1st hear them. One of my favorite memories is being a party when this album 1st came out. People were mingling, laughing an chatting but then this song came on and everyone shut the hell up so we could listen and enjoy it. I'd already heard the song 100 times before it played at the party because I bought the album the day it was released. I was in my own little world, singing along with the music an when the song ended, this guy came up to me, said "Never would've pegged you for a Perfect Circle fan". We had a long talk about stereotypes and judging books by their cover, made an awesome new friend that night. Everything on this planet is open to interpretation, individuals will have different perceptions on movies, books, food, entertainment, etc. You like what you like, your personal appearance (skin color) doesn't determine your preferences. Good music is good music, to each his own.

The percussion in this song has always given me goosebumps. The low-tuned toms, the big, heavy cymbals, the patternless "organic" flow of flams and ghosted fills across the whole kit, the volume control, the breathy little flourishes only a good set of speakers picks up; it's really some masterful drumming. Easily the most musical I've ever heard in rock.
