Thanks ever so much for posting this. Some time back, I heard a live cover of this awesome song performed at a benefit concert by k.d. lang, that sent chills all over me, it was so incredible, and so I just had to hear the original. I gotta say, I have never heard a "bluesier" country song. Enjoyed this so much.

Thinking about it, it must have been a major mistake for Chet Atkins to let Roger go from the RCA roster. It might not have been down to him, but it seemed no sooner than he'd left that label he became a mega-star on Smash Records.

Okay.. this is crazy.. I've been looking up lyrics to the third verse (in which they use a vocalizer on the guitar) and can't find anything. If anyone can shed some light on this before it drives me crazy. at 1:30, my guess for the lyrics has been something like: "Some day I'll find a silver dollar town. With a ??? ??? spell on me, and let my sorrows drown.." maybe someone can hear it better than me..
