Back in the day when Deguello came out in 1979 Dusty laid down another bad ass bass groove on Cheap Sunglasses. ZZ Top is one of the most respected Rock bands on the planet. Dusty Hill doesn't need no introduction who he is. We know. Without Dusty there is no ZZ.

Watch and listen to Dusty at 2:42. And then tell me that an average bassist could pull that off without even concentrating too hard on it. And then go right back into laying down the groove. The stuff Dusty and Frank does is what allows Billy to do what he does, and that's why they've been together for decades.
