Yellowcake UF6 - The right/wrong way round! descargar videos gratis

The title of the B side to The Stranglers' 1979 single release, Nuclear Device (The Wizard of Aus). (UA BP318, reached the giddy heights of No.36 and managed a stonking 4 whole weeks in the UK chart!).

YCUF6 is the result of a track called 'Social Secs', written about the band walking offstage with right faces on!, from a live performance on 'Rock Goes to College' in 1978, played backwards. They decided to release it as a 'B' side because the track 'wasn't going anywhere!'

The subject matter..........."UF6 is the chemical uranium hexafluoride, the basic material from which uranium is extracted. The Australian government had found huge deposits of uranium in the centre of the Aboriginal sacred sites. The Aborigines weren't very happy when the government started excavating." .........thanks for that Hugh.

I created this, quite frankly rather shoddy, video purely as a vehicle to overlay my version of 'Social Secs' as a soundtrack. The images therein don't mean that much but can be construed as a light-hearted, good natured dig at our Antipodean convi.......(oops!).....cousins. (Especially as England appear to be in the semi-finals of the Rugby Union World Cup whereas the Aussie's 'spooned it!').;-)
