I don't quite understand why most just seem to praise Eminem here. I personally liked Yelawof's part more.I find Eminem's part good, too, and it may require more skills, but Yelawolf is what makes this song really enjoyable for me, he has the more interesting voice and the first few lines are just amazing.

Look, in my opinion, Em's verse in this song could be interpreted in a double sense. Pay attention to the lyrics. I'ma start analyzing the song from the religious perspective, which is the one perspective he's trying to make us interpret the song from as a direct/non-hidden message song.He starts talking to God, and he asks him for protection (armour) to help him not go through the wrong path and be a sinner. Then, he says what I'll call "the key line," which is: "I squashed my beefs and things seem to be looking decent; but don't jinx it, it's like Clint Eastwood looking for peace." I will explain why I call it "the key line" after. For now, let's keep interpreting the lyrics from the religious perspective...After talking to God, he starts yelling at the haters, or whoever criticizes him for the image he's given to the public with all of his controversial lyrics. He tells them things like:"So if you don't like when I rap or what I have to say on the mic, then you might wanna act just like quarterbacks and take a fuckin' hike when I snap 'cause I'm a sinner. I got a best friend,""I only listen to my guts, so unless you're my fuckin' belly buttom, don't tell me nothin'; you ain't my best friend. Who you think I'm talking 'bout?""He'll (my best friend) be waiting at the gate when you get sprayed up; sending you hoes straight up to deal with my best friend."Now, if you analyze the lyrics from a second perspective (the one with an indirect/hidden message), you'll see that they could be interpreted as Eminem's talking to God the whole song instead of just those short first lines, and his best friend is the devil, 'cause after his line about Clint Eastwood, the whole topic of the rest of his lines is about him being a sinner; and when he said things like "you ain't my best friend," he was saying that to God. Just analyze the lyrics as if he was talking to God the whole song so you'll get what I'm saying. Why I call the line about Eastwood "the key line"? Because that's the line that divides everything. It's the line that tells you that he switched from asking God for his armour, to warning God about the fact that he is a sinner, so he won't be asking for that armour for long, and for him to find peace is not possible. If you don't understand the Clint Eastwood line, here's a short explanation. Before saying that line, Em said "God, would you arm me with the armour to calm me when there's drama like Gandhi? Could have gone the other way many times, could have turned Dalai with the lama, but I squashed my beefs and things seem to be looking decent recently." In other words, he said that he could have done many bad things against others to vent out his anger, but he decided to choose peace and squash his beefs instead; and then he says the Eastwood line.Clint Eastwood is an actor. He's notable for his roles in westerns like "The Good, the bad and the ugly" and "Dirty Harry," where his characters love to tote pistols, so him finding peace is highly unlikely.

This isn't even Eminem's song, but let's all be honest, it's his song.
