Actually, this is hardcore. Go listen to roots music kind of hardcore, you'll find this is in the same vein as the hardcore being made in the mid-80's and early 90's. What gets called hardcore nowadays is actually metalcore.

@xoxogirl24711 Why should someone be constricted to what music they listen to by its genre? I'm pretty sure you're allowed to listen to music if you don't know it's genre. And as for metalcore, go listen to asking alexandria or some shit if thats what you want. This is hardcore, its defined by its morals aswell as it's musical characteristics...

@ascitiesburn444 To me, and alot of people, hardcore means fast, agressive and oftentimes straight edge. Minor Threat was among the first hardcore bands, helping to coin the term, and you can't say this isn't under direct influence of Minor Threat, can you? To me, the stuff with screaming, (heavy metal) breakdowns, and "crazy drum fills" sounds more metalcore to me. Or post-hardcore maybe? Who really cares. Stemming from it's roots, this is hardcore punk.
