Over done, breathy and just terrible. One of the selling points of Fast car is the simple acoustics and the lyrics. In fact, I love most of Tracy Chapman's songs because of her simple yet profound lyrics. She simple, raw and haunting (as in Behind the Wall). To me this was just over done.

There is shame in being a hipster. Hipster is the symbol for the fall of the subcultures (and the quite obvious protest movement behind them), being a superficial and a shallow pretense. However, I am loving and for sometime have madly loved XiuXiu. Surely this music is not for everyone but what sort of music is universally loved? I believe Jamie is a genius and he has made many of my days brighter (and darker). He is worth a listen, if it is not to your liking, then do not listen.

This was the first video I uploaded above, and only now I read all the comments! I think that, being a kind of music so special, it is right that people can like it or not. I like it. although sad, it makes me relax... sometimes I wish to hear it, and I think I do feel good. I'm glad some of you have been happy to find this cover.
