@hydenervosa So, I'm not sure what you expect. They changed completely as a band since after 1994, so you should just be glad for we what we get (BB, SJ, Art of Life). I know I'm not complaining. Plenty of shit to criticize, but their setlist is certainly not one of them. By all expectations we could've anticipated a Dahlia-style live over and over again. I think you should watch "Blue Blood" from Akasaka Blitz on 12.31.08 If you can't feel the oldschool X energy from that then you are blind.

@hydenervosa Blue Blood and Silent Jealousy are NOT "staple metal songs". BB wasn't played on a regular basis since 1991, only on precious few occassions that you can count on one hand. Same for Silent Jealousy after Taiji left. So the fact that they're stil willing to bring them back is nothing short of spectacular.

@hydenervosa none of hide's songs: false... they played Scars on the 28th of March 2008 as well as at the hide memorial, and Drain on the 29th of March 2008, and again both nights in Hong Kong, May 3rd 2009 in Tokyo Dome, and May 30 in Taipei. As part of hide no heya, Miscast/Doubt were played on March 30 2008, and Celebration was played on the 2nd of May in Tokyo Dome 2009... It's just Pata + backing tracks though so feel free to disregard that.

@hydenervosa "lost any metal aspect"??? You do realize that they played Blue Blood last year? And they play X and Kurenai routinely. Orgasm too, I think. Hell, they even played Silent Jealousy a few times, and that's been unheard of since 1994.
