"The past. A new, and uncertain world..." --Professor Charles Frances Xavier, a.k.a. Professor X, (portrayed by James McAvoy).I think it's pretty darn cool that John Ottman re-used the themes that he established for the franchise in X2: X-Men United but also mixed it with some "synthesized elements of some analog synths and electric piano and bass and some guitar". After all, in light of its time travel setting between 2023 and 1973, the more modern elements were just a PERFECT match for this film; and whenever you re-use the themes that you established for a franchise, it helps maintain "thematic continuity", which is basically where you hear a certain theme in new installments and go like, "Okay, this is...", in this case, this theme identifying the X-Men -- but create TOTALLY different themes for the same franchise in ALMOST EVERY new installment, and it becomes nothing more or less than a just scatterbrained mixture of ideas that one doesn't even recognize. Some new themes are okay, but only if you reboot them, (or reinvent them), 'cause otherwise, you won't be able to identify, or find any significant connection to, the new themes in an already-established franchise. Some people just need to explain that to the studios and crew members, most particularly the composer(s). What say, folks? Anyone agree with me?

for me, x men Days Of The Future Past received 91% and Avengers age of ultron 95%, so the avengers manages to overcome it by more action and destruction

The only thing I'm dissapointed with in this movie, is that we never got to see Wolverine fight the future sentinels.

This starts off when Logan meets Charles again. Can't seem to find the part playing while Logan sees everybody again, just before the start of this...
