From the 2002 album "Has Been". Great album by the way. This is track #3. The footage is from the S.F. Giants Summer Carnival after Sanchez pitched a no-hitter. I know this song is called, "You'll Have Time", but it's probably something the record company decided because they didn't want to have 'You're Gonna Die' on the album cover. The song is way more about how you're gonna die than it is about how you will have some time.

"The song is way more about how you're gonna die". Not really. It's about the fact that when you die, you'll have time to think about how you should have lived more (assuming you didn't seize every opportunity you had when you were alive). I believe it's more about the urgency to "Carpe Diem" :) Great video for the song. Well done.10 years ago

Normally I'd be supportive, but in this specific instance I have to disagree. This album's genius was the producer, Ben Folds. He harnessed Shatner's skills to their greatest potential and made an entire album of awesome stuff. Shatner's other musical endeavors... Nnnnnot so much.11 years ago

Did you come here after seeing "Shatners Gonzo Ballet" on Netflix? I did, and have listened to every song on the album all day on You Tube, and ordered the cd on Amazon so I can have it for the car.
