Could anyone tell who are the other band? Seems to have been kind of a joint concert - and they also have done a great job... Several recordings here on YT...

Now there's a song that takes on a whole new dimension when you've lost your own Mother! My Mum passed away on Christmas Eve 2008 aged 92. I've often performed this song but it means a lot more now. Never heard the Dubliners play this until today, 26 May 2013. Sounds great, and made more poignant by the passing away of Ronnie and Barney. Time waits for none of us. Play on, cos time's short!

I don't really like this song, but when dubliners sing it, it sounds just amazing! Gotta love them. R.I.P Ronnie Drew :( God bless you.

This shows how much Irish Folk music influenced Bluegrass and Country music. This is pure beauty! R.I.P Ronnie Drew.

Well, Tom, I believe that Ronnie's spirit still lives on and he walks and talks and sings. In my opinion, he never died, he just went to sleep and woke up again.

No, originally it's a hymn.. but more commonly, it's sung as an American Bluegrass song. Tom
